Here's a 9-minute mindfulness meditation and chanting practice, focusing on the breath as a tool for centering oneself in the present moment. I encourage you to notice the sensations of your breath as it enters and leaves your body, and to explore how your breath could be used to regulate your emotions and physical state - to 'talk' to your body through your breath and focus your attention by observing your breath. I also introduce the three sounds inside the 'Om', 'A' – 'O' – 'M', as a way to connect with your body's vibrations and then to breathe normally for a moment or two before opening your eyes.
